The Provent 200 Catch Can is a premium oil fume filter that protects the engine by filtering out damaging oil mist and condensation from the air entering the inlet passage. This oil mist and condensation often causes carbon build up resulting in loss of power, fuel economy and can consequently lead to expensive engine damage.

The ultimate answer to carbon build-up in modern engines is a quality effeicient Catch Can. Due to environmental laws modern engines are designed to ensure oil mist (blow by) is not released into the atmosphere but instead circulated into the combustion chamber. The by-product of such a design can be a gradual build-up of this oil turned hard carbon around walls of the EGR valve, inlet manifold, turbo bearings and intercooler. Restricting airflow resulting in a severe loss of power, efficiency and possible engine damage.

Provent 200 prevents this carbon build-up from occurring by safely filtering out the oil mist.

Bought catch can kit for a 2013 MN Triton. Overall the hoses and catch can fit well, the bolt holes on the bracket could be a touch larger to not drag on the existing threads on the studs behind the air filter.
